"It's That Simple"
About Pattaya
Pattaya is ranks as one of the most successful beach resorts in the
world, with some 5.4 million visitors arriving in 2005 and going up in
2008. Increasing numbers of tourists come from the former Soviet Union
states, Europe and North America/Canada so Timeshare in house jobs In
Pattaya In Thailand is obviously one of our main operations in Thailand
and where many of our staff work.
Pattaya is second only to Bangkok in high
rise buildings, as many condos for foreign residents are built, and has
a modest skyline. The city's economy benefits from its relative
proximity to Bangkok.
Pattaya Beach is situated alongside the city centre, close to shopping,
hotels and bars. The section of beach from Central Road (Pattaya Klang)
south to the harbor is adjacent to the core of Pattaya's abundant
nightlife area. Most sections of the beach are covered by rented
deckchairs run by local beverage vendors during daylight hours. During
nighttime a few deckchairs remain operated and drinks can be ordered at
the south end (near walking street) of the beach.
Nightlife:
Pattaya is renowned for its nightlife so working in Timeshare in
house jobs In Pattaya In Thailand is a great place to be what ever you
like. The city has hundreds of beer bars, go go bars, and night
clubs/discotheques. New clubs and bars are opening all the time. The
world famous 'Walking Street' is the center of the Pattaya's nightlife.
Another important, but understated aspect of Pattaya are the foreign
restaurants. Often run by expatriates, most offer food at good prices.
Transport:
Pattaya is about 1½ hours, or 120 km by road from Suvarnabhumi
Airport in Bangkok. Pattaya is also served through U-Tapao International
Airport which is 45 minutes drive from the city. By road, it is served
by Sukhumvit Road and Motorway 7 from Bangkok. Intercity transport is
usually through one of two bus stations, one for Bangkok and one for
other destinations. Getting around Pattaya is very easy by either
motorbike taxi, Tuk Tuk and you might even want to rents a bike or car.
There is also a public bus service has begun in 2006, and a metered taxi
service began in late 2007.
Pattaya has several foreign language newspapers; most come out weekly.
The English newspapers include Pattaya Mail, Pattaya Today, Pattaya
People. Additionally, there are French, Norwegian, German, Russian and
Japanese publications. There are several English-language cable
television programs with news and video reports from Pattaya. There are
also several tourist magazines and nightlife, most of them coming out
monthly.
Pattaya Climate:
It is warm in Pattaya all year round with temperatures ranging
between 25 - 34°C (77 - 93°F). Pattaya's weather is typically divided
into two distinct seasons, dry and rainy, with transitional periods in
between. The seasons are dictated by the tropical monsoon, which is
characterized by prevailing winds that blow from the northeast for half
the year, then reverse and blow from the southwest, producing a dry
season and a wet season.
Currency:
The currency of Thailand is the Baht. 1 Baht = 100 Satangs.
Paper currency comes in 1,000 , 500 , 100 , 50 , 20 , and 10 Baht
denominations. Bank notes are scaled as well as coloured according to
value. The larger the denomination, the larger the size of the note.
Coins come in 10 Baht, 5 Baht, 1 Baht, 50-Satang and 25-Satang
denominations.
It’s recommended to keep a good amount of smaller notes handy, as making
change for 1,000 Baht or even 500 Baht notes can occasionally be
difficult.
Foreign currency can be easily exchanged at branches of the major banks
in Pattaya, or at the numerous kiosks operated by the banks throughout
Pattay. Money can also be exchanged at hotels, although bank rates are
usually a lot better.
Most currency exchange kiosks are open from 08:00 or 09:30 and close
around 20:00, seven days a week.
Visa and MasterCard are the most widely accepted cards, followed by
American Express and Japan Card Bureau (JCB). Credit cards are widely
accepted in hotels, tour agencies, as well as certain restaurants and
shops. However, you will need cash for markets, streets stalls and when
paying for transport.
To sum up Pattaya and living there. Everyone is different in what they
like and don't like, but if you want to live in Thailand and enjoy the
sun and beach, the nightlife, shopping, sightseeing, meeting people and
most importantly, you think that you are good enough to work for 'Club
Absolute' in Pattaya, then this is the place for you !!
