NB -
Its a Commission-Only position; No Base Salary:
New Sales reps
receive commission flat 10% for the first FOUR weeks
of employment as they learn the products and develop
their techniques with full on going training and
assistance. After that it rises to 13%. Commissions
are paid out every Wednesday for the previous weekly
pay period. There are daily cash incentives called
spiffs, which are paid out the following day to
anyone who made a sale according to the targeted
criteria from the previous day’s sales meeting;
these vary as the sales manager will set different
targets in the morning sales meeting, often on a
sliding scale whereby more sales means the higher
the daily bonuses are! Our product selling prices
range from 2,000 Euro’s for a trial or introductory
membership up to 45,000 euros for full two bedroom
villa memberships and we have prices all the way in
between and above;
We feel we have Absolutely something for everybody.
Independent Trustee:
All our
Purchasers have an excellent fully independent
consumer and legal protection established by a
specialist vacation ownership trustee called
Hutchinson & Co Trust Company Ltd offering escrow
services and duly audited inventory management for
the Club.
Sales Consultants-will
be given prospective clients after a 5 day Sales
Training course and Product Orientation /
introduction. You introduce our product range to the
clients during an easy going and relaxed but
informative tour of the property, where the club has
accommodations and general friendly talk to allow
you to show clients other resorts in our Club and
accommodation types that would be of interest to
them. Normally the managers will show prices
tailor-made to the clients and help you make the
deal. This is where you make money -each sale
creates a commission for you of what ever money is
taken, less a 1,250 Euro admin, legal & product fee;
Average prices being around 9 or 10,000 euros or a
commission of around 1,300 euros on an average type
of sale.
In certain
'hardship' cases we can fast-advance you commissions
on money paid by your clients. We think this is fair
and easy for us to help out. The collections are
made locally by a professional contract and
collections team on the resort and of course, you
can speak with the collections department anytime to
make sure your clients are all ok and paying on
time. We expect and encourage this. We would expect
you to sell one or 2 sales a week.
Clients
generally leave a deposit by credit card or in some
cases cash, of around 1 to 3,000 Euros and pay their
balance within 7 to 14 days of returning home or at
least by a month; however, this is not always the
case where as they may need longer time to pay.
Generally, you know that 1,000 Euros in your hand is
worth far more in Thailand than in Europe or
Australia!
Fun!
The job has to be fun and we enjoy life – we
celebrate your success with you – see our Sales

THAI Visa Details:
For new
recruits we send out certain company documents for
you to apply for a Non Immigrant B Visa, you have to
apply for the Visa at a local Thai Embassy or
Consulate outside of Thailand; this then enables us
to apply for a Work Permit when you arrive to the
country. We would need from you a faxed or scanned
copy of the photo page in your passport showing all
your details, in some cases we would also need a
separate scanned photo ( passport type ) The
passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
Check the
website for your nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate,
www.thaiembassy.org
and in the UK (or Europe) we recommend using Alan
Taylor at the Thai consulate in Hull as they have
proved to be by far the most efficient consulate in
UK – see
http://www.thaiconsul-uk.com
just call them in advance and they are most helpful.
If you struggle to find the nearest embassy or
consulate, simply ‘Google your country and Thai
Consulate’ or ask our help.
The Embassy will require you to get the following
documents from us:
-
Letter of invitation
from our Thai company as a guarantee - we
will provide this.
-
Completed Non Immigrant
B Visa form – a blank application form can
be printed off one of the websites.
-
2 x Passport size
photos
-
Visa Fee – Visa costs
are your own expense and not refunded by the
company.
Please ask for a One
Year Multiple Entry Visa,
as this is the best option for you; they may only
give you a 3 month visa initially and it is not a
real problem. It varies from country to country and
also consulate to consulate. You will simply visit
Hong Kong, Malaysia or Singapore from Thailand to
renew and obtain a new visa B once that one nears
its expiry date.
Thailand - Work
Permits – Tax & Social Security:
To apply
for a Work Permit we will need some things from you
when you arrive, some special work permit size
photos taken locally and a simple local medical
certificate; all of these can done near the resort.
When the Work Permit is issued, you will of course
be paying Tax & Social Security of around 2,650 baht
per month, as you have a work permit. We deduct this
from your commissions and do not charge you upfront.
Flight Refund & Free
Housing:
We provide the
first months free Housing (which is generally
private not shared) And a Flight Reimbursement of up
to a maximum of 600 euros,
- paid as following:
200 euros when a rep has done his/her first
Timeshare registered sale
200 euros on his/her third Timeshare registered sale
200 euros on his/her fifth Timeshare registered
sale.
Health Insurance:
Complimentary
Accident & basic Medical Insurance for Staff after 2
months of employment
Airport pick up:
Most people fly
into Bangkok, and then have a flight connecting
domestically to Phuket or Samui. We will pick you up
from the airport and bring you to your
accommodation, one of our Absolute drivers will have
a board with your name on. For Pattaya, you would
get a taxi from Bkk to Pattaya and will have
probably arranged with someone from Absolute where
to be taken to.
Sales - Type of
Clients we see:
Normally we
tour couples aged 30 to 65 yrs old from Australia,
NZ, USA and UK, plus German, Swiss, and especially
French mainly in the winter months. Also we tour
single people 30 and above - but they must be with a
valid credit card with them at that time. This
allows us to take funds if they wish to buy. Anyone
can buy whether big, small, tall or short, generally
it comes down to money and we offer a range of
products from cheap to expensive and look to sell
what is suitable to the clients. Managers help you
with this part.
